Blossoms from your sweet embrace,
And eyes that can lift me up to grace,
I pray they will be in plain view of mine,
And afflictions will never bother me again
The winds whispered like arrows,
Shattered glass through veins narrow,
These were my only armor yesterday,
But I will never wear those tears again
The bridges built of cobblestone,
Crumbled away and left me here alone,
So to you who somehow reached my heart,
I will never need to pray for love again
Those days as deep as splinters,
Felt like snowflakes in the winters,
Until the sun broke through the clouds,
And I looked out with my smile once again
